The Indiana British Car Union was formed in 1989
to provide British Car enthusiasts with annual events that facilitate
and promote the mixing of various British Marques within Indiana and
around the Midwest.
The Union is administered by a group of volunteers drawn from
Indiana British Car and Motorcycle Clubs, and from British Car
owners and enthusiasts in the area. Events organized and
hosted by the ICBU annually include the London to Brighton Run in
mid-summer, and Indy British Motor Days (IBMD) rally and show in
September. British car owners throughout North America are encouraged to
bring their cars and participate in the events.
The 2008 IBCU event season is over already! Both the London to
Brighton Run and the Indy British Motor Days were well received and
well attended - although the dire forecast for "hail and damaging
winds" on the day of the September 21 Car Show kept a number of cars
tucked away in their garages. But we saw only blue skys throughout
the day!
The planning for the 2009 season will now start in earnest. Check in
with this site during those long, cold winter days to see what's
awaiting you and your LBC next summer.
And here's your chance to join in on the process of planning and
hosting these events - the IBCU is looking for some new blood with
fresh ideas to help us get all of these activities pulled off in fun
and innovative ways. If you're interesting in getting involved with
putting on our agenda of Indiana British Car events, please click on
