The Indiana British Car Union was formed in 1989
to provide British Car enthusiasts with annual events that facilitate
and promote the mixing of various British Marques within Indiana and
around the Midwest.
The Union is administered by a group of volunteers drawn from
Indiana British Car and Motorcycle Clubs, and from British Car
owners and enthusiasts across Indiana. As such, there are no
individual "members", dues, or even a newletter - just people who like
to run around in their LBC's - and believe that everyone else does also.
Events organized and hosted by the ICBU annually include Indy British
Motor Days (IBMD) rally and show in September, and often a longer rally
in mid summer. British car owners throughout North America are
encouraged to bring their cars and participate in the events.
The planning for the 2009 season is now under way. The prime
focus again this year will be the IMBD, now scheduled for the weekend
of September 19-20. Due to the highly positive response to the
show venue in 2008, we are again returning to the American Legion
Post in Carmel. Additional details for the weekend are still being
worked out, and will be available on this site as soon as plans are
formalized.
And here's your chance to join in on the process of planning and
hosting these events - the IBCU is looking for some new blood with
fresh ideas to help us get all of these activities pulled off in fun
and innovative ways. If you're interesting in getting involved with
